Energy

"Notably worked on some of the only nuclear power projects in the country."

Our work on energy is led by the project development and finance practice which has advised on complex, large-scale projects related to energy, infrastructure and natural resources. Our energy portfolio includes nuclear, hydro, thermal, solar, bagasse and other renewable as well as non-renewable energy projects. AsiaLaw observes that we have “notably worked on some of the only nuclear power projects in the country”.

In infrastructure projects, we have advised on various aspects of the construction and development of roads, bridges, airports, water and waste management systems, gas pipelines, transmission networks and other critical communication and transport networks.

In the process, we have acted for governments, sub-sovereign entities, regulators, lenders, sponsors,  developers as well as EPC and O&M contractors. Our industry experience of working for such a diverse set of actors allows us to provide clients with technical and practical insights that are always one step ahead of the market.

As part of our philosophy, we build cross-disciplinary teams to draw from the wealth of experience from other practice areas and industry sectors to help clients in structuring transactions that suit their business needs. Our teams have worked on various energy and infrastructure projects that have been financed in a myriad ways including PPP, PFI and BOT basis.
