ABS & Co is advising the National Grid Company in connection with two regulatory review petitions arising from recent determinations affecting the interpretation and implementation of the Grid Code and related operational compliance requirements.
The petitions concern, among other matters, the scope and application of operational readiness, testing, and verification obligations for key grid functions, as well as the manner in which compliance is assessed and enforced within the applicable regulatory framework. Our work includes strategic regulatory advice, review of the relevant technical and contractual matrix, and preparation of submissions to protect the client’s position and ensure clarity and consistency in the application of the governing framework.
This engagement reflects the Firm’s continued focus on complex energy and infrastructure disputes and regulatory proceedings, particularly where technical grid operations intersect with public-interest and system-reliability considerations.
