Ena Murakami is an Associate at ABS & Co’s Lahore office, specializing in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. She earned her LLB from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

Ena is part of the legal counsel team for Google, advising on corporate, operational, and regulatory matters, and notably assisting in the establishment of Google’s first incorporated entity in Pakistan.

She also advises routinely to NBFCs, including Tez Financial Services (Zood), Goldfin, and Postex, and has advised on the acquisition of Tez by OrientSwiss SA. She is also a crucial part of the legal counsel for TallyMarks Consulting (TMC), advising on all corporate and transactional affairs and assisted in TMC’s acquisition of Siemens Pakistan’s SAR ERP reselling business and other strategic partnerships and restructuring initiatives.

Beyond her notable work with Google and TMC, Ena provides legal advisory services to GLOCK, Nintendo, the Orient Group of Companies, Oilco Petroleum, Din Industries, McDonald’s, and the US Group. Her work spans corporate restructurings, filing Schemes of Arrangement and related petitions before the Lahore High Court, and she has made meticulous contributions to the Scheme of Arrangement for the Orient Group of Companies. She has also handled several high-profile shareholder disputes, representing clients from both sides, whether challenging oppressive management or defending against such claims, including fraud investigations and complex corporate disputes.

Ena has also contributed to World Bank–funded projects such as PULSE and PAHP and has provided legal advisory services to Engro Corp and Stylers International Limited. Her experience spans diverse matters and clients, including cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, and legislative drafting. With a practice covering technology, fintech, manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure, Ena continues to advise both local and international clients on matters of strategic legal and corporate significance, including clients from KSA such as Tracking Technologies, as well as entities in Ireland and Singapore.
