ABS & Co has been retained by Guarantee Engineers to represent the company in a high-value contractual dispute related to the Establishment of the Tertiary Care Hospital, Nishtar-II, Multan – a flagship public sector project executed under the aegis of the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP).
The contract is based on the FIDIC 1987 Red Book, and the disputes currently pending before a Sole Arbitrator involve a broad range of financial and technical claims. These include alleged misapplication of overheads and profit margins, incorrect rate assessments, outstanding payments, and the valuation of variations and additional works carried out during project execution.
ABS & Co has been engaged to lead Guarantee Engineers’ strategy for both the ongoing arbitration proceedings and any associated litigation, bringing its strong reputation in FIDIC-based construction disputes and public sector contracts to the fore.
