Zeerak Elahi is an Associate at the Lahore office and works as part of the Corporate and Commercial, Real Estate, Construction and Dispute Resolution departments.

Zeerak graduated from the University of London in 2020 and has been with ABS & Co since then. His main areas of focus include legislative drafting, arbitrations, contractual advisory, banking litigation and constitutional litigation. 

In his time at ABS&Co, Zeerak has advised and assisted the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority on various matters specifically in drafting the (i) PPP Regulations, (ii) Procurement Regulations, (iii) Land Auction Regulations and (iv) Procurement Rules for the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority. He also assisted the Authority in a major financial transaction worth PKR 34.89/- billion.

Zeerak actively assists senior partners in major litigation. He has assisted an associate partner in making an arbitral award worth PKR 1.5 billion a Rule of Court and in obtaining a decree for a financial institution for PKR 2.4 billion. Furthermore, he was involved with a partner in a representation before the Ministry of Interior for removal of three directors of ZKB-Reliable JV.

He has also participated in multiple arbitration proceedings on behalf of Mughals Pakistan Ltd., Kingcrete Builders, Paksat International and Habib Construction Services. 

Moreover, Zeerak is highly skilled in contractual, legislative and opinion drafting. He has drafted various complex Public Private Partnership agreements, mainly consisting of a $600 million PPP agreement for the construction and development of 10,000 acres between RUDA and HRL Consortium.
