Khadeeja is an Associate at ABS & Co’s Lahore office where she works as part of the Corporate and Commercial practice as well as the Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. 

Khadeeja’s work primarily includes advising various clients in the corporate, construction, energy and technology sectors such as Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power Limited (QATPL), Xavor Pakistan Ltd., Habib Rafiq Ltd, McDonald’s, Kingcrete Builders, AutoSoft Dynamics and government entities such as Pakistan Railways, National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC), and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA). 

Her areas of interest include corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, tech law, procurement law and Mergers & Acquisition matters. She regularly assists the associate partner in ongoing disputes with her meticulous research skills.

Khadeeja’s notable highlights in the Construction and Dispute Resolution department include preparing a statement of claim for arbitration for Kingcrete Builders in relation to a dispute concerning the construction of Federal Government Employees Housing Authority Foundation Towers in Islamabad. Her comprehensive understanding of various legal issues related to FIDIC construction contracts, performance and guarantee bonds, mobilization advance guarantees, public-private partnerships (PPP), and public procurement laws, has been invaluable when providing advice to clients.

As part of the Corporate and Commercial team, Khadeeja has drafted and negotiated on behalf of Pakistan Railways the initial version of a Master Software Services and Consultancy Agreement for the deployment of SAP’s ERP system. She has also offered astute guidance on a range of corporate matters, including company incorporation (including compliances for foreign shareholders), winding up, IPO procedures, holding company tax implications, private-to-public conversions, and various other compliances for the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

Khadeeja graduated with an LLB Honors degree with upper second class honors from the University of London – Universal College Lahore in 2021 and received an academic “Roll of Honour” while at UCL.
